i was so excited when i was asked by albeit jewelry to choose any piece that i'd like.  as you know i love simple everyday jewelry/accessories so this was perfect for me.  it was hard choosing between a couple of letters and symbols but 'c' would mean more to me because that's what my husband's and all my children's names start with.  i love how it's supposed to hang kind of sideways and i could imagine passing it down to my girls one day too.
also, unless you don't already follow my instagram you probably have seen this blouse a few times already. it is currently one of my favorite pieces.  i thought i was over scarf prints but this one has paisleys and i could never be mad at paisleys.

while at my little brother's graduation party on saturday, my cousin and i grabbed the camera and just went to one of her favorite locations to shoot.  it was next to railroads, with a fading sign that read 'transit lines' and blended in to the residential area.  i thought it was pretty cool.

for the first time doing a diy that required bleach, i'm pretty proud of the results of these ombre shorts.  and since i will probably be living in cutoffs this summer, variation is necessary.  anyway, it's been the craziest two weeks with the kids being on their last week this week.  had a billion activities for them including field trips, open house night, award presentations, memory book presentation, family picnics, and on top of that my husband started a rigorous program of 2 years in 1 this week.  adjusting to that is taking a ton of patience and sacrifice for the both us but i'm glad it's only one year.  for now, please wish me luck!  lol

these were taken on saturday after a family celebration.  i want to reach for this silk tee every time i need to run out.  it easily goes with everything and the airy silk is so comfy and perfect for the warm weather.  this is definitely the best vintage find ever.

stumbled upon this top during one of my current and obsessive searches for tees.  i prefer cream and woven but couldn't pass on this dull orange with the most simple shape.  also received this gorgeous bag from grafea.  decided on this one because i've been into larger totes.  i like to keep the the shoulder strap on while holding the top handle, looks casual and chic.  and yes, wore these shorts 2 days in a row but next to accessories, cutoffs are excused.
