i got this blush blouse from zara for one of my mother's day gifts from the hubby.  i love it with yellow.  i actually got this blouse a month before in a bright red to wear with my blue shorts in the previous post.  i planned to wear it to my hubby's surprise party but after getting ready and putting it together for the first time, i felt like i was ready to go to work at hotdog-on-a-stick.  yellow and blush is a less harsh pairing.

i'm going to be on crochet overload very soon.  the fact that it's in the form of skirts and most especially, shorts, i'm all for it.  i got this skirt along with this clutch a few weeks ago in the mail.  i decided i needed more clutches because i was starting to get comments like, 'it's your favorite clutch' on not just one clutch but two of them.  but hey, that's what i do, if i love something, i wear it to death.  i also got it in blue since they were only about $7 each.  only thing is that i had to wait about 3 weeks for them to arrive.

bohemian rags.

nothing goes together better than the two.

had such a fun weekend.  we celebrated mother's day a little early on friday.  my hubby took me to the city so i could pick out my gift.  found something at zara and we also grabbed some last few things we needed for the wedding we were attending the following day - which i wore this to.  we indulged in a lazy sunday this weekend.  we usually do church first thing in the morning and then a bunch of chores but this week we slept in, ordered some take-out sushi for lunch and just realxed most of the day.  we went to church in the evening and then had dinner at my mom's.  it pretty much set the mood for this week so far so i went to the fabric store to give myself a project that i hope to reveal soon.

passed by these art studios on saturday on our way to sign the girls up for soccer. this studio was adorable. it had vines sprawled all over on one corner and all the colors just made it feel like i stepped into a painting.

these have to be the most adorable shorts i have ever owned. two more awesome things about them; last ones and in my size & they were only $18.
