i finally had the chance to do a shoot with ryan so of course i had to bring out these suedette shorts i got from f21 that i added studs to.  i promised on my IG that i'd do a tutorial but i totally failed.  i might just give written instructions.  i was inspired by isabel marant fw '13's stud trimmed scallops.  one of my most worn items this summer is this crew neck blouse.  i have a similar one from last year but i'm really into its curved hems.  i'm so sad i got rid of a bunch from several years back.  a lot of people are asking where i found my celine sunglasses.  i got them at nordstrom but the girl who helped me locate them said they were hard to find and almost sold out and that was back in april.  so if you're looking for some alternatives which are a lot cheaper, i found a lot of cute oversized cat-eye frames here. 

it's been a long week and i'm so excited it's finally friday.  i'll be enjoying my 'me time' in the city with my sister later :)

one of my favorite summer outfits easily because it has that bright shot of color that my wardrobe needs sometimes and it's so comfy.  when chosing the right bottoms for this top, i don't even have to think about it.  these pale denim shorts were meant to be paired with color and tan accessories like my lunchbag clutch and studded sandals compliment everything perfectly.

i really don't mean to make this color scheme a new theme on my blog, i promise some color in the next few posts.  but for now, i couldn't resist pairing this almost bleached white denim shirt with more white.  i love the starkness of white sometimes and i wished the sun was shining directly on me for more of that feel but i was a little too late trying to get out of the house.  i also thought these silver and nude shoes were perfect for this look...i even added silver jewelry which i had a hard time compiling for a look.

hope you are all enjoying your monday so far.  last friday at the drive thru at starbucks, the lady in front of me paid for my drink.  all i had was cash as i left my wallet at home so i couldn't continue the gesture onto the next car behind me.  so this morning i made sure to bring my wallet and paid for the lady behind me.  as i drove off, i watched her expression as the barista told her i paid.  felt so good to do that...i suggest you all go surprise a stranger with generosity.  it was such a nice way to start my week!

yay got another pair of one teaspoons!  i'm addicted!  i'm sure i'm not the only one but when i get something new, i explore its possibilities by playing dress-up with it.  this pair is in a different shade from the ones in my last post.  it's more versatile and doesn't require any thought on what to pair it with so i just threw on anything i hadn't worn in a while - besides of course this grey tee.  i thought i was over this coat but with the sleeves rolled up, i'm in love with it again and its prim&proper-ness so perfect with these super casual shorts.  i don't know if my favorite part of this look are the red lips and the high ponytail or the clothes themselves.

this white vest, next to my 3 zara skorts is my favorite piece this spring/summer. i highly recommend this piece to change up any look. it gave this otherwise super casual outfit of a ribbed tank and cut-off shorts a very chic look and i can’t wait to pair it with flowy florals.
