french quarters.

zara top & bag, vintage levi's cutoffs, le specs sunglasses, old jeffrey campbell shoes

ryan and i joked that this shoot would be my little paris diary as we had some macarons at la boulange and walked over to the french quarters.  yeah, nothing close to the real thing but it was cute there haha.
i know my last few outfits look so much alike but zara has really been feeding my love and/or obsession of white blouses with different variations like crossovers, the perfect casual one that goes with everything and now this double breasted trench-coat style.  this one's my favorite, epitome of casual chic!

maiden lane.

zara top, shorts, bag & heels, le specs sunglasses

it was so nice in the city this past sunday.  i hung out with ryan on maiden lane where i always wanted to shoot.  the weather was so nice, perfect for shorts but in spite of having to dodge the daytime drinkers that st. patty's day brought out there, ryan captured such great pictures.  he captured exactly what i was envisioning for this shoot.  i can't wait to do another shoot with him soon.

crossover.

zara top, vintage levi's cutoffs, old bcbg clutch and dolce vita booties

really really loving this top and was browsing zara online again and found a plaid one i think i also need now too.  i want to wear this combo of cutoffs + blouse + peeptoe booties everyday.  reminds me so much of iro ss'13.

is it spring yet?

old zara blouse (this is on my wishlist & this is a must-have), vintage levi's cutoffs (looove these & these), h&m hat (love this one) & sam edelman petty boots

sorry for the iphone pic.  hopefully this should be my last in a while.  can't wait for spring to be here already so i can be in outfits like these everyday.  i already have a couple of cream blouses arriving to add to the line-up and i've been taking inventory of all my cut-offs so i make sure to give each one some love.  the links above should give you an idea of what's to come!

so necessary.

zara linen tee (great ones here), old earnest sewn jeans w/ ankle zip (love these) old jeffrey campbell sandals (similar here)

all pieces in heavy rotation lately all together in one look.  zara linen tees are my favorite because they don't pill and the fit is always right.  these jeans are one of the oldest pairs i've kept and are from '05 maybe '06.  so glad i held on to them.  sad story but i had a lot of ankle zip jeans from then that i either got rid of or cropped.  and these shoes, also old are one of the few jeffrey campbell's that survived in my closet.  i'm not trendy or edgy enough to keep up with jc anymore.  these are pretty tame and basic.  they look good with everything.

miniskirt n sweatshirt.

everything from zara, similar sweatshirt here, want this skirt but this is a good alternative, dream shoes here

one variation of my regular sweatshirt with a miniskirt formula.  i love this thermal sweatshirt which i initially got for $60 but ended up getting for $19 after a 'price adjustment'.  for a simple sweatshirt, that's a much better price but really, i wear it so much i've already gotten my money's worth.  after a taste of spring this past weekend i'm excited about it's possibilities with some white cut-offs like these.

pretty gritty.

blousebracelet c/o swayold uo jeans, h&m cardigan, vintage clutch, gap beanie, zara heels

i've been inspired by the bcbg fw '13 collection lately.  perfect layering topped (so to speak ) with a slouchy beanie which is perfect for my lack of patience with my bangs recently.  i love the long baggy knits with scarf prints and the leather...my kind of grunge!  so this is my version, a little lighter since we've been having spring weather lately.
