f21 tee, ark & co shorts via lulu's, steven boots

wearing my favs of the moment; knit shorts and black suede booties.  this was on our way back home from tahoe.  we stopped over at a burger joint i spotted on the way to the hotel because i couldn't leave without trying it.  it looked like it had been there for decades and survived old burger joints are my favorite.  we spent a couple days in tahoe for a wedding and i regret not taking more pictures of the beautiful scenery.  plus, i only had my little point and shoot.

about 50% of the tops in my closet were printed by the beginning of spring this year and i was barely into them anymore or putting them to use at all.  i since avoided buying anything printed and got rid of a bunch of them.  as part of my wedding anniversary gift from my husband, he took me shopping last week and the only two tops i picked out were printed.  i love prints in pastels because they're cute i guess and i love how they look against something bold like leather.  i couldn't resist this one.  it actually had dolman or batwing sleeves - like everything else in f21 but i took the armpits in to make it regular sleeves.

zara knit & shorts, asos hat & shoes

in front of a local cuban restaurant, havana sol in another quite frequented sweater of this summer.  it makes sense because of its open crochet knit though.  and plus it hasn't really been hot lately.  i know that's going to change any time now.  as soon as we start wondering where the heck summer went, it comes and slaps us in the face.  ...for a good 2 months.  are you guys ready?  ;)

i got an invitation yesterday to compete to become one of Bloggers Wardrobe's bloggers.  check them out here.  it's a pretty awesome concept.  as one of their bloggers you get to shop for free...yes FREE!  it would definitely be a dream to shop for free.  have you ever had a dream you were shopping and you pick out the cutest things only to wake up and find you don't actually have those clothes and that it was only just a dream?  those have to be some of the most disappointing dreams.
