one of my favorite summer outfits easily because it has that bright shot of color that my wardrobe needs sometimes and it's so comfy.  when chosing the right bottoms for this top, i don't even have to think about it.  these pale denim shorts were meant to be paired with color and tan accessories like my lunchbag clutch and studded sandals compliment everything perfectly.

yay got another pair of one teaspoons!  i'm addicted!  i'm sure i'm not the only one but when i get something new, i explore its possibilities by playing dress-up with it.  this pair is in a different shade from the ones in my last post.  it's more versatile and doesn't require any thought on what to pair it with so i just threw on anything i hadn't worn in a while - besides of course this grey tee.  i thought i was over this coat but with the sleeves rolled up, i'm in love with it again and its prim&proper-ness so perfect with these super casual shorts.  i don't know if my favorite part of this look are the red lips and the high ponytail or the clothes themselves.

ryan and i joked that this shoot would be my little paris diary as we had some macarons at la boulange and walked over to the french quarters.  yeah, nothing close to the real thing but it was cute there haha.  

i know my last few outfits look so much alike but zara has really been feeding my love and/or obsession of white blouses with different variations like crossovers, the perfect casual one that goes with everything and now this double breasted trench-coat style.  this one's my favorite, epitome of casual chic!

really really loving this top and was browsing zara online again and found a plaid one i think i also need now too.  i want to wear this combo of cutoffs + blouse + peeptoe booties everyday.  reminds me so much of iro ss'13.

sorry for the iphone pic.  hopefully this should be my last in a while.  can't wait for spring to be here already so i can be in outfits like these everyday.  i already have a couple of cream blouses arriving to add to the line-up and i've been taking inventory of all my cut-offs so i make sure to give each one some love.  the links above should give you an idea of what's to come!

my new favorite shorts!!  too bad i only got them now - at the end of summer :(  i have about a good month left but i will be keeping these out to wear with tights this fall!  definitely!  this studded blouse on bamboo sky really caught my eye.  thankfully we can all get 10% off our entire purchase when we enter the code 'lovedonatila' at checkout! ;)  go knock yourselves out!

a simple and comfy outfit.  i made an effort a few months ago to put this top away because i can wear the heck out of it - i didn't know woven polyesters could pill.  these shorts are the shortest i've ever gone but as long as i'm wearing sleeves or flats i think i'll be okay.

continuing my thing for crew necks, i found this sweater from here.  i'm so crazy about it right now.  i love the color and the silver trim is the perfect touch.  if you didn't notice, i dyed my hair back to its natural color.  after 2 years of being ombre, i felt it was finally time for a change.  and i was starting to really dig the dark exotic look.  what do you guys think?

while at my little brother's graduation party on saturday, my cousin and i grabbed the camera and just went to one of her favorite locations to shoot.  it was next to railroads, with a fading sign that read 'transit lines' and blended in to the residential area.  i thought it was pretty cool.

for the first time doing a diy that required bleach, i'm pretty proud of the results of these ombre shorts.  and since i will probably be living in cutoffs this summer, variation is necessary.  anyway, it's been the craziest two weeks with the kids being on their last week this week.  had a billion activities for them including field trips, open house night, award presentations, memory book presentation, family picnics, and on top of that my husband started a rigorous program of 2 years in 1 this week.  adjusting to that is taking a ton of patience and sacrifice for the both us but i'm glad it's only one year.  for now, please wish me luck!  lol
