i have the black version of these shorts which i wore in a few posts back that i wear a lot, even more than my trusty levi's cutoffs.  yes, i also wear them to the grocery store and to pick up my girls from school but of course with casual tees.  they're such a staple for me this spring/summer so it was an easy decision to get this white pair too.  another spring/summer staple for me this year will be caged or lace-up sandals.  i have a few that luckily i saved from a few years back but these from charlotte russe are a nice updated version with the geometric cut-outs.  i've been wearing these with everything lately as well and been getting so much compliments.  i think i will get them in taupe as well!

it was so nice in the city this past sunday.  i hung out with ryan on maiden lane where i always wanted to shoot.  the weather was so nice, perfect for shorts but in spite of having to dodge the daytime drinkers that st. patty's day brought out there, ryan captured such great pictures.  he captured exactly what i was envisioning for this shoot.  i can't wait to do another shoot with him soon.

i love the look and texture of this blue silk top, especially with these leather shorts.  i've had these for a couple months now and don't really know what i was waiting for before wearing them.  i'm excited to wear them with tights this fall.

love it when i randomly check on something that i really wanted but was sold out and becomes back in stock.  i never become more sure that i want something.  i start panicking because i know i'm racing with probably 10 other girls trying to purchase it.  that was the case with this sweater.
