i know, a little too similar to my last post but imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. i can't help that i love this sweater and these shoes so much. i forever had been in a search to find the perfect black clog. in fact, i found 3; a boot, oxford & sling-back :)

reset.
my reset button has been pushed! had my much needed weekend trip to the city with my sister yesterday. had a tough week with my kids. when one needs me, all of the sudden they all do! now i'm feeling a lot better. i got this sweater and these shoes yesterday along with a couple of other things i'm really excited about. these pictures were snapped after lunch which consisted of my hubby's slow smoked tri-tip marinated overnight with chaka's. i really had to tell everyone because it was really good hehe. i'm stuffed! well i hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far...love and hugs!!
and for those asking, cardigan is forever21!

Indie Session: fashion. art. capoeira. food. drinks.
you have to come!!! ;)
Please join us for an afternoon/evening of fashion, art, music, capoeira and entertainment. Capoeira MaculelĂȘ is excited to host Indie Session, an art and fashion showcase designed to connect local artists and designers to the SF community. The evening will feature an indie mart, a silent auction, a fashion show, capoeira demonstrations, and a mARTini bar.
Guerrero Gallery opens at 4 PM. Artists will have their work displayed in an "indie market" until 8 pm. You can browse the indie market to see their work, and also have the opportunity to purchase from select vendors at their booths or through a silent auction. There will be a series of capoeira demonstrations between 4 and 5 PM, where you can see the exciting Brazilian martial art / dance performed live. At 5 PM, we will kick off our fashion show featuring various local designers.
Throughout the course of the night, you can hang out with friends in a relaxed setting complete with music. Drinks will be available at our mARTini bar.
Admission to the event is a suggested $5 donation, which goes to the MaculelĂȘ Brazilian Arts Foundation (all drink proceeds go to the organization as well). The money from the event will be used to open an academy and expand our social youth programs.
Hope to see you on November 20th!

erase me.
yay, polkadot packages! this sweater finally came in today :) i'm so in love with it. i initially wanted it in camel but they sold out in my size. i saw this 'navy blue' one which looks more like black to me. blue would not have been my first choice but i thought the camel matched my hair too well anyway. so i'm really happy about it actually being black, ha.
today was also the giants victory parade and it was so awesome to see each player experience this championship. although i'm an a's fan, i was proud of this bay area team and the spirit the bay area has is just amazing. i'm definitely celebrating my birthday next year at an a's game! haha
topshop cardigan, f21 top, levi's shorts, target tights, deena & ozzy boots

i'm so in love with her style. it's perfect and i would give anything for her wardrobe. always so effortlessly chic and her hair is always so perfectly imperfect. i was a fluctuating 6 months pregnant when she had me obsessed looking for pairs of $200 siwy jeans. she was the first i'd seen wearing cut offs in the winter and although i was pregnant when i first stumbled upon those pics back in 2008, i totally wanted to rock them. countless times i was inspired to cut my bangs and then grow them out both because of her. she is definitely on the top of my list of style icons.
